Business Intelligence Engineer

📋 Description Design, develop, and maintain dashboards and self-service reports using BI tools (Looker, Power BI, Tableau) to surface insights. Collaborate with product owners, stakeholders, customers, and end users to gather reporting requirements and translate them into scalable BI solutions aligned with objectives. Write and optimize advanced SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and analysis across large datasets to ensure high performance. Contribute to the design and evolution of data models and semantic layers and work with data engineering to define and improve pipelines. Act as a senior contributor in BI development, driving best practices in visualization, governance, and security. Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and reliability by implementing validation and testing across dashboards and underlying data. 🎯 Requirements Experience designing and evolving scalable BI solutions, including data models, semantic layers, and reporting frameworks. Advanced proficiency in SQL and working with large-scale data in cloud data warehouses (BigQuery, Snowflake, Redshift). Experience building and maintaining robust dashboards and reporting systems using modern BI tools (Looker, Tableau, Power BI). Strong understanding of data modeling and transformation practices (ETL/ELT, dimensional modeling) and their impact on performance. Experience contributing to cloud-based data architecture and analytics workflows, defining and improving best practices.
