Business Data Analyst (Spark)

Business Data Analyst – Data Products (Spark) Location: Gdańsk/Gdynia/Warsaw - 3 days at the office required ONLY CONSULTANTS LOCATED IN POLAND WILL BE CONSIDERED Role Summary We are looking for a Business Data Analyst to join a large Nordic bank and work on Data Products. You will act as a bridge between business needs and developers, helping to deliver high-quality IT solutions and to build common capabilities for Data Products. You will work closely with stakeholders across the bank to understand the expected outcomes, elicit business features and help design advanced data and analytics solutions as part of a cross-functional agile delivery team.
Requirements:
Must-haves: SQL Spark SQL English C1 Hive Experience in data analysis, data hygiene and data quality Experience working with complex requirements Ownership and independence in tasks, features and user stories Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills Good communication skills and experience working with business users Familiarity with basic concepts of machine learning, CI/CD pipelines and big data (advanced knowledge of machine learning algorithms is not required) Nice to have: Banking knowledge and experience
Must have: SQL, Spark, Hive, Data analysis, English
Nice to have: CI/CD, PySpark
Daily tasks: - Act as a link between business stakeholders and developers to make sure high-quality IT solutions are delivered
– Contribute to building common capabilities for Data Products
– Work with Data Products and help design advanced solutions around data and analytics
– Collaborate closely with stakeholders across the bank to understand the expected outcome and elicit business features
– Manage delivery dependencies towards other teams and organisational units across the bank
– Work in an agile environment as an integral part of a cross-functional agile delivery team
