Business Analyst (Hybrid)

NCS is a subsidiary of the Singtel Group. GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES: The Business Analyst acts as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams. They translate business needs into AI-ready problem statements, draft user stories with acceptance criteria, and facilitate Agile ceremonies DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Identify ways to increase adoption and customer satisfaction Demonstrate fluency in business processes and process differentiation Ability to analyze and synthesize business requirements, including recognizing patterns and conceptualizing processes Solve unique and complex problems that have a broad impact on the business Operate with no supervision in a complex environment Support the development of a roadmap for a particular business Strategize, plan, and ensure proper execution of organizational change management activities Understands and analyzes current business processes, and identifies gaps and pain points of the client. Coordinates with business users and project managers for data gathering. Documents high-level and detailed user requirements that may span multiple business domains. Documents current and to-be business processes and high-level product requirements specifications. Documents detailed functional and non-functional requirements (i.e. Performance/Turnaround Time, Data Retention, Usability, Interoperability, etc.)in use-case format Create a walkthrough deck in preparation for the UAT proper. Documents user manuals and training decks for post-implementation support. Key Responsibilities Problem Framing: Translate ambiguous business questions into clear, actionable analytical problems and use cases for AI models. [1, 2] Requirement Translation: Act as a Product Owner or Scrum Master by refining backlogs, writing user stories, and managing sprint ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives). [1] Testing & Deployment: Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT), define edge cases, ensure AI success measures are met, and build post-implementation SOPs. [1, 2] Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with service designers and cross-functional teams to drive adoption, align on operational realities, and turn complex data into executive narratives. [1, 2] Required Skills & Qualifications Experience: 2–4 years of experience as a Business Analyst in an Agile/data-driven environment. Technical Proficiency: Hands-on experience with Agile tools (Jira/Confluence), data visualization, SQL, and knowledge of modern AI/analytics stacks. AI & Data Literacy: The ability to understand conceptual AI/data models, spot biases, and evaluate model outputs.
