About the role
Salary: $104000 - 109000 per year Requirements: We require a bachelors degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Healthcare Administration, Finance, or a related discipline. We require at least 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst supporting healthcare, government, defense health, or enterprise technology programs. We require proven experience evaluating products, assessing markets, and comparing solution options. We require strong technical writing ability with a background in formal project documentation. We require experience with financial analysis, business case development, ROI, and TCO assessments. We require experience facilitating stakeholder meetings and requirements workshops. We require knowledge of healthcare information systems, interoperability standards, and enterprise applications. We require proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Visio, SharePoint, and collaboration tools. We prefer experience supporting DoD, DHA, federal healthcare, or military health programs. We prefer familiarity with MHS GENESIS workflows, architecture, and integration considerations. We prefer familiarity with JOMIS business processes and enterprise systems. We prefer experience with healthcare interoperability standards such as HL7, FHIR, and API-based integrations. We prefer knowledge of Agile and Waterfall project management methods. We prefer one or more certifications such as CBAP, PMI-PBA, PMP, or Lean Six Sigma. We prefer experience supporting federal business development activities. Responsibilities: We gather, analyze, and document business, operational, clinical, and technical needs. We facilitate stakeholder interviews, workshops, and requirements elicitation sessions. We develop business process maps, workflows, use cases, and gap analyses. We identify process improvement opportunities and operational efficiencies. We translate business needs into functional and non-functional requirements. We support product evaluation, selection, and implementation planning. We analyze future integration needs with MHS GENESIS and JOMIS environments. We document interface, interoperability, data exchange, and workflow requirements. We collaborate with technical architects, integration teams, and stakeholders to identify dependencies and constraints. We support data governance, security, privacy, and compliance assessments. We manage data dependency identification, risk tracking, and remediation follow-up. We assist in developing integration roadmaps and transition strategies. We perform data gap analysis, map data flows, and create data dependency registers. We develop evaluation criteria, scoring methods, and assessment frameworks. We conduct comparative analyses of healthcare technology solutions and vendors. We assess product capabilities against organizational requirements and future-state architecture. We identify integration considerations, interoperability requirements, and implementation risks. We support demonstrations, proof-of-concept activities, and vendor assessments. We prepare recommendations and executive decision-support materials. We produce clear project documentation, including BRDs, FRS, CONOPS, SOPs, process flow diagrams, gap analysis reports, evaluation reports, executive briefings, acquisition support documentation, and integration and transition planning documents. We maintain documentation version control and traceability. We develop cost-benefit analyses and return-on-investment assessments. We perform total cost of ownership evaluations for candidate solutions. We analyze licensing, implementation, support, maintenance, and lifecycle costs. We support budget planning and financial forecasting. We develop business cases and funding justification packages. We identify financial risks and cost-optimization opportunities. We produce business requirements documentation, data flow diagrams, data gap analysis reports, product evaluation scorecards, cost-benefit and ROI analyses, TCO assessments, business cases, executive briefing materials, process maps, integration readiness assessments, MHS GENESIS and JOMIS integration planning documentation, vendor evaluation reports, and project status and decision-support reports.
