Business Analyst

Solstice Analytics is hiring a Business Analyst for a project modernizing banking solutions and improving scalability, efficiency, and management of digital lending services. The customer is a financial services organization providing banking products and digital solutions for individual and business clients. The company operates through an established service network and online platforms and is part of a larger international financial group, supporting ongoing development of its services for a broad client base. The project is focused on modernizing and decoupling cash loan management processes within a banking ecosystem. It aims to improve scalability, maintainability, and operational efficiency by separating core lending functionalities into independent services and streamlining loan lifecycle management. Responsibilities: Analyzing current processes in HIBIS / HIBIS POP (AS-IS). Decomposing monolithic processes and identifying candidates for extraction. Designing target processes (TO-BE) in Camunda (BPMN). Defining business logic and orchestration scenarios. Preparing requirements for development (user stories, acceptance criteria). Aligning solutions with business stakeholders and architects. Participating in designing integrations between Camunda and banking systems. Supporting the development team (clarifications, grooming, demos). Participating in testing (UAT, validation against requirements). Requirements: Experience as a Business/System Analyst in banking or fintech projects for 3+ years. Understanding of HIBIS core banking system architecture. Experience in monolith decomposition / migration / service extraction projects Hands-on experience with BPM platforms HIBIS POP, Camunda similar) Strong skills in requirements elicitation and documentation (BRD, SRS, user stories) Ability to act as a bridge between business and IT teams Understanding of integrations (REST, Kafka, SOAP, ESB) Process modeling skills (BPMN 2.0) Level of English – from Upper-Intermediate and above. Nice to Have: Experience with core banking systems (HIBIS or similar). Understanding of microservices architecture. Basic knowledge of Domain-Driven Design (DDD). Experience with monoliths.
