Build Engineer, COPVS (Starship)

📋 Description Work with vehicle analysts to meet design and manufacturing needs Develop production procedures; transition parts to high-rate production Plan and execute development, qualification, testing of systems/tools Create CAD models and prints for flight tooling components Lead on-site design engineering for efficient builds Create and maintain build schedules 🎯 Requirements Bachelor's in mechanical or aerospace eng; 1+ years in manufacturing Master’s degree in mechanical/manufacturing/aerospace/materials/industrial eng Experience with large mechanical assemblies Composite manufacturing: resin curing, cylinder cleaning, inspection Metallic manufacturing: welding, forming, fastening, drilling, bonding, automation 3D CAD; DFMA; R&D to high-volume; ITAR eligibility 🎁 Benefits Stock-based incentives and bonuses Medical, vision, and dental coverage 401(k) retirement plan Paid vacation and 10+ holidays Paid sick leave
