As a Brand Design Lead you’ll elevate the visual expression of Meridian Softworks across our portfolio of consumer brands and own how they show up in the world across websites, paid media, app store listings, emails, and more. Our products support families through meaningful and sometimes sensitive moments, and we acknowledge the power of thoughtful design in earning their trust to help them manage their family life. This is a senior, hands-on individual contributor role with full responsibility for brand design across all marketing touchpoints. In this role, you’ll bring your strong design craft and expert-level communication skills to creative execution with confidence and independence. While you’ll bring the ownership needed to move work forward independently, you’ll also collaborate closely with Growth, Product, and Marketing Leadership to ensure alignment in the journey to elevate our brands while maintaining consistency with our product experience. What you will accomplish: Mature and strengthen visual systems that can scale to a variety of channel executions Collaborate in strategic brand strategy conversations to future-proof positions of our brands Own website and landing page design strategy and execution Develop high-performing page media creative (Meta, Google, TikTok, and emerging platforms) in both still and static formats Partner with Growth Marketing to iterate and optimize creative based on performance data and audience insights. Lead creative for app store listings, visual positioning, and conversion optimization Design for email and lifecycle marketing campaigns Provide creative direction and oversight for video production (CTV ads, short-form video, podcast reads, motion graphics) Increase brand affinity and trust through thoughtful, high-quality design Raise the standard of creative excellence across the organization Who you are: You have strong design judgment and high standards for craft and quality You are highly autonomous and thrive with ownership You do not require art direction — your design principles are strong and deeply internalized You balance brand integrity with performance marketing realities You are invested in how AI can maximize creative output and have a strong point of view on how it’s best leveraged You are low-ego and collaborative, able to work fluidly with growth, product, and leadership You communicate design rationale clearly and confidently to cross-functional stakeholders You care deeply about clarity, typography, layout, and visual hierarchy You operate with a high level of craft, polish, and intention You’re motivated by building systems and brands that stand the test of time, not just delivering individual assets. What you bring: 8+ years of experience in brand, consumer, or marketing design roles Experience leading brand design at a consumer startup or high-growth company, ideally in digital services or mobile applications A strong portfolio showcasing web, paid media, lifecycle, and digital product marketing work Deep expertise in typography, layout systems, and visual hierarchy Experience building basic motion/video assets, along with experience leveraging production teams or external vendors Comfort designing for both brand-building and performance-driven initiatives Experience collaborating cross-functionally with growth and product teams Expert-level proficiency in modern design tools (Figma and basic motion/video familiarity required) Bonus Points Experience in DTC, consumer apps, or subscription businesses Experience designing for family-focused or mission-driven brands Experience working across multiple brands within a portfolio Why Join?
