BPO & Trade Documentation Consultant - Remote

We are now looking for a Offshore BPO and Trade Documentation Consultant who can perform the following functions : Responsibilities : Manage a portfolio of clients having varied requirements for document processing relating to Import/Export and other similar businesses Coordinate with various parties on behalf of the client e.g. Freight and forwarding agent/shipping company, Insurance agent, banks etc to procure necessary information and documents for onward submission of documents under Letter of Credit (LC). Counter check all documents like purchase/sale contracts, Bill of lading/AWB, Inspection documents etc, received with reference to the LC Examine any additional documents/certificates requirement in terms of the LC and prepare/arrange for the same Ensure correct submissions to the bank within stipulated time frame Coordinate for any discrepancies that may be raised by the bank and ensure settlement of the same. Maintain tracking sheet of various shipments and the respective timelines to ensure tasks are completed well within deadlines Any ad hoc duties that may be assigned by clients under the BPO portfolio. Requirements : Relevant qualification in Export Import management or International Trade preferred Relevant work experience of 1-3 years Good working knowledge of UCP600 and other international trade guidelines and practices. Able to work under strict deadlines. Must be fluent in spoken and written English. Since this is a remote position candidates are expected to possess/have access to the following : Laptop/Computer --> i5 or equivalent processor, 8 GB RAM, Windows 10 or equivalent OS with antivirus software.
