Blending Associate — Manufacturing Lo Job Type: Full-time Shift/Schedule: 2:30pm-1am, M-Thur About the Role We're hiring a Blending Associate to support daily blending operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role oversees blending room workflow, helps keep production on schedule, and ensures raw materials are blended accurately, safely, and on time — all while maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient work area. What You'll Do Execute and support the daily blend schedule to meet production goals Assign daily tasks to blending staff and temporary workers, and monitor performance against schedules Assist with staging, scaling, sanitation, and running blending equipment Accurately measure, weigh, and mix raw materials according to formulas Maintain daily blending summaries and performance documentation Coordinate with Production and Maintenance to keep operations and preventative maintenance on track Monitor raw material inventory and report potential shortages Keep blending areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards Follow GMPs, quality procedures, and company policies Perform minor equipment maintenance and repairs as directed What We're Looking For High school diploma or equivalent Up to one year of manufacturing or related experience preferred Knowledge of GMPs and Quality Assurance practices Forklift experience a plus Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills Comfortable with a flexible schedule, including overtime, weekends, or holidays as needed Ability to understand and follow formulas and mixing instructions Physical Requirements Ability to stand for extended periods; frequent walking, bending, squatting, and reaching Ability to lift/carry up to 50 lbs regularly; push/pull up to 50 lbs frequently Work performed near moving machinery EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER: Surge is an equal opportunity employer.
