About the Role As a Senior Backend developer, you’ll join our Backend Development team. The platform is a product that runs tenants within an internal AWS installation but can be deployed to various clouds—such as GCP, Azure, or AWS—based on client preference. It relies heavily on AI backends, particularly LLM integrations. Responsibilities Develop platforms and digital solutions using Drupal and modern web technologies Design and implement robust, testable, maintainable, and well-documented code Build frontend experiences using JavaScript and ReactJS Develop backend services using NestJS and TypeScript Design, integrate, and maintain PostgreSQL databases Deploy and manage infrastructure across AWS and GCP using Terraform Integrate large language models (LLMs), AI tools, and automated development workflows Collaborate effectively with developers, team leads, and company management Produce user interfaces that follow established industry standards and best practices Anticipate technical challenges and recommend effective solutions Participate actively in an agile development environment Meet project deadlines and established performance goals Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement, professionalism, and collaboration Other duties as assigned About You Qualifications & Skills Relevant professional experience developing Drupal websites, web applications, or digital platforms Strong proficiency in JavaScript and ReactJS for frontend development Strong proficiency in NestJS and TypeScript for backend development Hands-on experience designing and working with PostgreSQL databases Practical experience with AWS, GCP, and Terraform Strong hands-on experience integrating LLMs, using AI tools, and implementing automated development workflows Experience writing robust, testable, maintainable, and effectively documented code Understanding of industry-standard user interface design and implementation practices Experience working collaboratively within an agile development environment Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to anticipate problems, propose solutions, and consistently meet deadlines Professional, enthusiastic, and proactive “can-do” attitude Commitment to continuous learning and improvement .Ironwood Digital Technology Services does not discriminate on the basis of race, sex, color, religion, age, national origin, marital status, disability, veteran status #LI-VM1 About Ironwood Digital Ironwood Digital is the global, digital-first, data-driven, unitary operating brand of S4 Capital plc.
