(5-20 YRS OF EXPERIENCE) Responsibilities Design, develop, test, and deploy production-grade backend services. Build and support API platform capabilities, including REST APIs and GraphQL. Develop solutions for large-volume data, large file, and batch processing. Build event-driven solutions using Kafka. Implement scalable caching solutions and optimize application performance. Work with product, infrastructure, security, and other engineering teams in an Agile environment. Required Skills Strong hands-on experience with Kotlin and Micronaut Experience with vanilla Kotlin and Java/Spring Boot. Strong experience building and supporting APIs, API platforms, and GraphQL. Experience with Kafka and PostgreSQL Production experience with large-scale data/file processing and batch processing. Production implementation experience with caching solutions Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot. Strong automated testing and Agile development experience Good to Have Agentic AI experience, including production-ready AI agents. Conversational AI experience, particularly for guest/customer service use cases. Experience integrating AI/LLM capabilities into enterprise applications.
