The candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and enhancing Core Banking applications and related banking systems, ensuring system stability, performance, and compliance with banking regulations. The role will collaborate closely with business teams and project members to support both common banking modules and card-related services. 2. Key Responsibilities Core Banking Development Maintain and enhance backend services of the Core Banking System. Analyze and resolve bugs, incidents, and performance issues in production and non-production environments. Perform database query tuning and optimize system performance. Write and maintain technical documentation (design documents, API specifications, release notes). Participate in code reviews and ensure development standards are followed. Collaborate with business and technical teams to deliver stable and secure solutions. Submit progress reports and support issue tracking activities. Comply with security policies and change management procedures. Depending on project assignments, candidates may work on Core Banking modules related to Common Banking Services or Card Systems. Banking Business Development (Common Modules) Develop accounting modules (GL, posting rules, reconciliation, financial reporting) Configure and manage product setup (fees, interest, pricing rules, conditions) Implement AML/CDD processes (transaction monitoring, screening, case management) Manage customer data lifecycle (CIF creation, KYC, data validation, deduplication) Card System Development Develop and maintain card-related services and transaction systems. Handle card lifecycle management: Issuance Activation Debit/Credit processing Support transaction processing: Clearing Settlement Reconciliation Ensure compliance with banking regulations and international standards such as PCI DSS and ISO 8583. Your Skills and Experience Technical Requirements Experience in developing main services using C-based frameworks Proficiency in building terminal/screen interfaces with HTML5, CSS, JavaScript Strong knowledge of database design and management using Oracle SQL/PLSQL Experience working in Linux/Unix-based operating environments Ability to ensure system performance, stability, and scalability. 4. Soft Skills Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks. Proactive, responsible, and detail-oriented mindset. Good written communication skills in English. 5. General Requirements 2–4 years of relevant experience (middle level). Ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks. Experience in financial services or banking IT systems. Knowledge of banking protocols (ISO 8583, SWIFT, etc.). Familiarity with Napas 247, eWallet, and SBV reporting. Knowledge of security standards and compliance requirements.
