About the role
Develop server-side logic and APIs for web applications using PHP and Laravel or Java and Spring.
A Back-End Software Engineer is responsible for server-side web application logic and integration of the work done by front-end software engineers. He/She usually writes web services and APIs used by front-end developers and mobile application developers. He/She uses his or her understanding of programming languages and tools to analyze current codes and industry developments; formulate more processes that are efficient; solve problems; and create a more seamless experience for users. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or similar field. With at least 3-year experience in API development or integration. Strong knowledge of PHP and Laravel framework or Java and Spring Framework Preferably with experience in NodeJS using Adonis framework Demonstrable experience including OOP, Security, refactoring, application architecture and design patterns. Knowledgeable with AWS services and alike Able to design database structures and with knowledge on the ff. but not limited to: MySQL MS SQL Oracle SQL NoSQL Experienced in the following: REST or SOAP API integration Agile product development environment Test-Driven development
