Azure Hybrid Cloud Architect

Tech Stack: Microsoft Azure Public Cloud Azure Stack Hub & Azure Local Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) Azure App Service, WebJobs, Key Vault Azure Storage Accounts, Azure SQL PowerShell, ARM Templates Azure DevOps (Repos, Pipelines) Infrastructure as Code (IaC) Project Description: Join a long-term hybrid cloud transformation program focused on designing, evolving, and operating enterprise-scale platforms based on Azure Public Cloud, Azure Stack Hub, and Azure Local. You will work closely with architects, platform owners, and operations teams to deliver secure, scalable, and highly automated cloud solutions while driving modernization and migration initiatives. Work model: Primarily remote with occasional workshops or client visits in Wrocław. Contract: Minimum 12 months. Working hours: Standard business hours with occasional on-call support.
Requirements:
Several years of experience in Cloud Architecture, Platform Engineering, or Hybrid Cloud environments. Strong hands-on expertise with Azure Public Cloud, Azure Stack Hub, and Azure Local. Experience with Azure IaaS/PaaS services and cloud migration projects. Practical knowledge of PowerShell, ARM Templates, and Infrastructure as Code. Experience with Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and code repositories. Strong troubleshooting, incident management, and problem-solving skills. Good understanding of cloud security, compliance, and operational best practices. Professional proficiency in German and English. Experienced in using AI tools in day-to-day workflow. Nice to Have: Experience with AKS, especially AKS on Azure Local. Knowledge of Volkswagen Financial Services environments. Experience with .NET applications and multi-tier architectures. Background in cloud modernization and hybrid cloud transformation projects. Microsoft Azure certifications (Architect, Administrator, DevOps).

Daily tasks: - Design and develop hybrid cloud architectures and platform solutions.
– Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using IaC.
– Manage and improve Azure DevOps repositories and deployment pipelines.
– Evaluate and implement new Azure services and platform capabilities.
– Support cloud migration, testing, and rollout activities.
– Contribute to AKS on Azure Local implementations.
– Provide 3rd-level support and resolve complex platform incidents.
– Create architecture, security, operational, and disaster recovery documentation.
– Conduct knowledge-sharing sessions and support operational teams.
