Salary: $164,528 - 185,328 per year Requirements: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent experience 7–10 years of experience in infrastructure or cloud engineering Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure services, including compute, networking, and storage Experience with Azure Virtual Machines, VNets, Load Balancers, Azure App Services, and AKS Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates Strong knowledge of Azure networking and cloud architecture fundamentals Experience with scripting and automation using PowerShell, Bash, or Python Experience with Azure monitoring and troubleshooting tools Strong communication skills, including the ability to explain reasoning and approaches Ability to work onsite in New York City Tuesday through Thursday Desired: Financial services industry experience Desired: Familiarity with AI or machine learning concepts Responsibilities: Design, deploy, and maintain infrastructure using Microsoft Azure services Configure and manage Azure networking components, including VNets, subnets, NSGs, load balancers, and application gateways Provision and manage Azure resources using Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates Monitor and maintain Azure environments using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights Manage Azure storage solutions, including Blob Storage, Files, and Managed Disks Implement backup, disaster recovery, and high-availability solutions Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and platform issues in Azure environments Tune performance, scale, and optimize cloud resources Automate operational tasks using PowerShell, Bash, or Python Support cloud migrations and deployment of workloads to Azure Build secure, scalable, and highly available cloud environments while supporting application teams with architecture, automation, and operational best practices Help migrate workloads to Azure, optimize performance, and maintain platform reliability Technologies: AI ARM Azure Bash Cloud Support Machine Learning PowerShell Python Terraform DevOps More: We are recruiting an Azure Cloud Engineer for a major financial services firm in New York, NY. This is a six-month hybrid contract, with work onsite Tuesday through Thursday. The pay range is $79.10–$89.10 per hour, and candidates must be available to work directly as Genesis10 employees.
