AWS Senior Cloud Engineer / Senior Devops

For an international client from the healthcare sector, we are looking for 2 Senior DevOps / Cloud Engineers to join a fully remote project focused on cloud-based integrations and automation.The role is a good fit for someone who combines strong development skills with cloud and DevOps experience. We are looking for an independent engineer who is comfortable taking ownership of tasks and building solutions rather than focusing purely on infrastructure maintenance.What you’ll be working onDeveloping and integrating solutions within an AWS-based environmentAutomating processes and infrastructureBuilding and improving cloud-native solutionsWorking with APIs, integrations and different data/platform componentsSupporting CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code initiativesWriting production-quality code, primarily in PythonCollaborating with an international team in EnglishTaking ownership of technical tasks from requirements through implementationWhat we’re looking for6+ years of professional experience in IT, with strong experience in a DevOps / Cloud / Software Engineering roleSolid hands-on experience with AWSVery good Python skills – this is a key requirementExperience with Infrastructure as CodeKnowledge of CI/CD and automationGood understanding of cloud architecture and modern engineering practicesFamiliarity with Bash / scriptingAbility to work independently and take responsibility for delivered solutionsGood communication skills and confidence working in an international environmentEnglish at B2/C1 level or higherNice to haveExperience with GenAI / AI-based solutionsDocker and/or KubernetesTerraformExperience with React, Next.js or StreamlitFull-stack development experienceExperience with Azure or GCPExperience working with enterprise clientsConsulting experienceExperience with PoCs and taking solutions towards productionWhat is important in this role?This is not a traditional Cloud Operations or System Administration position.The project has a stronger Development focus, so we are looking for someone who can code, automate and build solutions independently. AWS knowledge is essential, but the ability to combine software engineering + cloud + DevOps is what will make someone successful in this role.
