About the role
AWS (Developer) Engineer (Python, Node.js) Focus: Microservices, Integration, Serverless Must-Have Qualifications 3+ years building production microservices/serverless apps on AWS (Lambda, Fargate, ECS, VPC Lattice, API Gateway, Step Functions, SQS/SNS/EventBridge, DynamoDB) Strong hands-on proficiency in Python, Node.js (.NET is a plus) Experience designing and consuming REST/API contracts Working knowledge of event-driven patterns (SNS/SQS/EventBridge) Intermediate Terraform (can write/modify IaC, aligned with WVI guidelines) Git-based workflow and CI/CD pipeline experience, Azure DevOps Comfortable working in a spec-driven development workflow (implementing against or writing defined specs/contracts) Experience with Gen AI–assisted development tools (e.g. Claude Code, Kiro) in daily coding workflow AWS Developer Associate certification or equivalent Nice-to-Have Exposure to MuleSoft (or another iPaaS) and what a migration off it involves Familiarity with CQRS/Saga concepts (implementation under architect guidance is fine) ADDITIONAL INFO: Remote Setup Must be amenable with both day and night shift
