Responsibilities: We serve as the site expert for maintaining the automation systems that are critical to operations. We understand, maintain, and troubleshoot material handling control systems, including PLC/PC controllers and industrial networks such as Ethernet, ControlNet, DeviceNet, and Profibus, as well as motor control systems, servo drives, frequency drives, and electrical distribution systems. We monitor material handling equipment metrics and partner with maintenance and operations teams to resolve system performance issues and analyze results across the site. We provide first-level escalation support for site technicians, both on site and remotely. We perform and evaluate building system assessments to improve material handling system performance. We collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize material handling equipment systems and deliver innovative projects. We troubleshoot complex control systems, analyze performance data, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
