Automation & Controls Specialist, Solar Cell Manufacturing (Starlink)

📋 Description Integrate vendor/OEM equipment into centralized SCADA (Ignition) for line control Maximize uptime of automation assets on manufacturing lines Develop data analysis tools to root-cause downtime and long-term fixes Specify and procure components, sensors, hardware for controls solutions Wire, commission, and validate electromechanical and pneumatic control systems Design and commission basic PLC and HMI software to existing systems 🎯 Requirements High school diploma with 2+ years in manufacturing; or bachelor’s in engineering/math/science 2+ years experience with mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, or hydraulic systems Hands-on fault finding and troubleshooting skills Strong problem solving, communication, and documentation skills NFPA 70/70E/79 and UL508A knowledge PLC and HMI programming experience (Beckhoff TwinCAT, Siemens TIA, RS Logix)
