Associate Real-Time Software Engineer

Salary: $109000 - 158000 per year Requirements: We require a bachelors degree or equivalent. We require the ability to obtain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance, which requires U.S. citizenship. We require the ability to obtain Special Program Access, which also requires U.S. citizenship. We require 3+ years of experience with C/C++. We require 3+ years of experience across the software development lifecycle (SDLC). We require 1+ years of experience designing and developing software for real-time or non-real-time systems. We require 1+ years of experience in safety-critical or flight-critical software development. We require a U.S. Person status for export control compliance. We require the ability to complete a technical assessment as part of the selection process. We require eligibility to obtain an interim U.S. Secret Clearance before start and a final U.S. Secret Clearance after start. We do not offer visa sponsorship for this role. Responsibilities: We develop, document, and sustain architectures, requirements, algorithms, interfaces, and software designs. We build, maintain, and integrate code into fully functional software systems. We create and maintain software development plans, verification plans, test procedures, and test environments, then run tests and record results to confirm requirements are met. We provide technical leadership on software initiatives. We support the creation and upkeep of software processes, tools, and metrics. We act as a subject matter expert on software domains, system-specific issues, processes, and regulations. We monitor and assess the software team to ensure alignment with project plans and industry standards. We coach and mentor others. We work under general direction.
