ABOUT THE ROLE:
We’re seeking an experienced tester with a strong background in Agile methodologies,
comfortable working in a product delivery team. You have a deep understanding of various
testing approaches, particularly tool-assisted exploratory testing, and are adept at testing
throughout the SDLC. You can effectively communicate about your testing processes and apply
a risk-based mindset.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Note: This position involves both manual and automation testing.
1\. Software testing:
● Improve the quality of Nimbus Data Systems Technologies’ web and mobile apps in a cross-functional
team.
● Conduct exploratory and regression testing, documenting results for decision-making
and QA planning.
● Replicate and document bugs, discussing issues with developers and stakeholders.
● Participate in product feature discussions, technical design sessions, and Agile
ceremonies.
● Document features, create test plans, and define testing processes, including
automation where possible.
● Communicate with the team regarding critical bugs, ensuring regression tests prevent
recurring issues.
REQUIREMENTS:
● Passion for software testing and improving software quality.
● 2+ years of experience in software quality assurance.
● Attention to detail and a methodical approach to testing.
● Comfortable discussing product requirements and testing strategies with developers and
product owners.
● Hands-on experience with exploratory testing, web/mobile applications, and various
platforms.
● Experience with Jira or other bug tracking tools.
● Ability to write clear, concise test cases based on thorough analysis.
● Proficient with Postman for API testing.
● 1+ years of experience with Selenium for browser automation.
● Experience with Appium for mobile app automation (Optional).
● Strong knowledge of Python/Java programming.
● Familiarity with Usability, Functional, System, Regression, and Smoke testing.
