About the role
The Asset Inventory Engineer role is pivotal in supporting asset inventory initiatives across various electrical systems. The ideal candidate will demonstrate extensive expertise in operational technology and industrial automation, particularly within wind turbine and substation environments. Main Responsibilities: Conduct field-based asset surveys and desk-based inventory reconciliations. Create and validate asset inventories for LV, AUX, SCS, and WTG systems. Perform site surveys at offshore and onshore locations, ensuring compliance with safety standards. Identify and document operational technology assets, ensuring accurate verification. Maintain comprehensive inventory information across operational technology settings. Reconcile inventory records with asset management tools and engineering documentation. Provide gap analyses and remediation recommendations based on inventory assessments. Key Requirements: 5+ years of experience in operational technology, SCADA, or industrial automation. Strong knowledge of wind turbine control and substation control systems. Familiarity with auxiliary systems and industrial networking. Experience with asset verification and configuration management. Able to interpret engineering drawings and asset hierarchies. Prior experience with asset management systems. Ability to work independently in diverse environments.
