📋 Description Have an immediate impact on how Ironwood Digital builds with AI Design, build, and maintain AI features, incl. LLM API integrations and RAG pipelines Build and improve shared tooling to access and operate LLMs in production Improve AI reliability via observability, monitoring, evaluation, and prompt management Solve hard, ambiguous AI problems and help others learn to solve similar problems Prototype solutions quickly and ship with peers, then maintain them 🎯 Requirements 4-6 years of back-end development in fast-moving environments Hands-on AI/ML systems in production: reliability, performance, cost, safety Production experience with LLM APIs, including prompt design and context management Strong Python experience and a backend framework (Django/Flask/FastAPI) REST APIs, asynchronous tasks, and sound data management Strong ownership, clear communication, and bias toward action 🎁 Benefits Base salary $160k, plus annual bonus eligibility and meaningful equity Comprehensive medical, dental, vision, and life insurance Generous time off: 20 vacation days, 5 sick days, holidays, and floating days Parental leave up to 13 weeks 401(k) with employer match Remote-first environment with HQ in Austin, TX
