Applications Developer II

📋 Description Design, troubleshoot, and implement end-to-end software code and services Design and integrate software stacks for on-prem and cloud tools Troubleshoot production problems in software apps and pipelines Research and coordinate integration of new products per requirements Initiate evaluation and recommendations of software packages and testing tools Automate deployments, testing, and builds with IaC tools (Ansible, Terraform, Git-CI) Improve documentation and development process standards Ensure quality control of prototype software via staged testing and pipelines Establish configurations and tunings for COTS, GOTS, and open source tech Navigate Linux and container-heavy environments (OpenShift, RHEL, Docker) 🎯 Requirements BS in CS/CE/CIS/CS Engineering or related; or HS Diploma with 4-6 yrs relevant exp. 2+ years of applications development experience Knowledge of secure SDLC and code versioning and maintenance Experience with assessing and integrating COTS products Knowledge of installing, demonstrating, testing, validating, and evaluating software/tools Operational experience with Python and Linux terminals Knowledge of software automation, application development, and RESTful architecture Knowledge of data ETL workflows for on-prem, cloud, and hybrid Experience with containerization (Kubernetes, Docker, Redshift) Experience with IaC including Ansible, Git-CI, CloudFormation, Terraform Strong communication and experience interacting with customers in project environments or demos Able to work across remote and physical locations 🎁 Benefits Two or more of: Python, JSON, Data Analytics, MongoDB, Ansible, Kubernetes, Docker, OpenShift, Terraform, CI/CD CSSLP or Sec+ certifications
