Application Development IT Internship

Salary: $60,000 - 80,000 per year Requirements: We require you to be pursuing a bachelors or masters degree in computer science, computer engineering, information technology, or a related discipline We are looking for a strong interest in application development, including web, mobile, or backend systems We expect familiarity with one or more programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript We value strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills We look for curiosity, initiative, and the ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced environment We value demonstrated leadership ability or leadership aspirations We need you to be able to work both independently and collaboratively A cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher is preferred Responsibilities: We design, build, and improve applications that support our internal systems and client-facing platforms We participate in the software development lifecycle, including coding, testing, debugging, and deployment We work with modern technologies and tools in an Agile/LEAN team environment We collaborate with engineers, product teams, and business partners to deliver impactful solutions We contribute ideas, solve problems, and drive outcomes both independently and as part of a team We build connections with peers, mentors, and leaders across Vanguard We receive ongoing coaching and feedback to support our development Technologies: Backend Support Java JavaScript Mobile Python Web More: We are offering a full-time, paid 10-week summer internship through our College to Corporate (C2C) Internship Program, with a start date in May/June 2027. This internship provides hands-on experience building technology solutions across web, mobile, and application development, along with mentorship, structured learning, and opportunities to strengthen technical, professional, and leadership skills.
