Application Developer

Salary: $80000 - 97000 per year Requirements: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a closely related discipline; equivalent hands-on experience may be considered in place of formal education. At least 5 years of progressive professional experience in application development. Strong command of HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript, with a solid understanding of typography, grid systems, and mobile-first design principles. Experience building web-native applications; native iOS app development experience is a strong plus. Demonstrated ability to work with complex, data-driven interfaces, mobile SDKs, APIs, and web services. Proficiency in creating advanced SQL queries and working with cloud-based association management systems, especially iMIS EMS. Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, WordPress, MVC/Visual Studio, or similar UI/UX and frontend tools. Excellent communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to work both independently and in collaboration with others. Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and a results-oriented approach. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel, plus familiarity with Google Workspace and Zoom. Responsibilities: Design and build impactful applications, wireframes, and interactive prototypes that deliver smooth, intuitive user experiences. Develop and support cross-platform mobile applications, interactive websites, and educational digital tools for our healthcare community and internal teams. Test, troubleshoot, and maintain applications to ensure high performance, accessibility, security, and responsiveness across mobile devices. Set up and integrate APIs and web services to enable reliable data exchange between internal platforms and third-party systems. Monitor emerging mobile technologies, frameworks, and security practices, and apply relevant advancements to our development work.
