Salary: $94000 - 146000 per year Requirements: US Citizenship is required to fulfill federal security standards. Must reside in the Washington, DC metro area for hybrid on-site duties at DHS headquarters or component offices (e.g., CISA, ICE, or TSA). A minimum of 5 years of professional experience with React.js. A minimum of 5 years of professional experience with Python. Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field. Strong background in application development with at least 8 years of relevant experience. Responsibilities: Design and develop responsive, Section 508 compliant user interfaces utilizing React.js and TypeScript. Create and enhance RESTful APIs and microservices using Python (FastAPI or Flask) to manage high-volume data ingestion. Work collaboratively with security teams to embed automated scanning (SAST/DAST) into CI/CD pipelines, leveraging tools such as Jenkins or GitLab CI. Assist in deploying applications in AWS GovCloud or Azure Government environments using container technologies (Docker/Kubernetes). Manage data interactions with PostgreSQL or NoSQL databases to guarantee data integrity and efficient querying for essential reports.
