Appian Developer

Northwind Robotics is actively seeking an Appian Developer with a strong interest in building efficient, scalable application solutions to join our development team. This role supports the design, development, and maintenance of Appian applications under the guidance of senior developers and architects. The ideal candidate demonstrates initiative, a solid technical foundation, and a commitment to achieving Appian certification. Responsibilities: Appian Development Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze and understand business and technical requirements Design, develop, configure, and deploy Appian applications in accordance with project specifications Build workflows, interfaces, and data integrations using Appian Process Modeler and related platform components Technical Design & Documentation Create and maintain technical documentation and specifications for Appian solutions Support development of custom components or Java plug-ins as required Work closely with architects and senior developers to ensure adherence to coding standards, best practices, and performance guidelines Testing & Quality Assurance Conduct unit testing and support system and integration testing activities Identify, document, and remediate defects, bugs, and performance issues in a timely manner Continuous Learning & Improvement Stay current with Appian platform updates, features, and industry best practices Participate in training, mentoring, and knowledge-sharing sessions to expand technical skills and platform expertise Communication & Collaboration Communicate effectively with business analysts, project managers, developers, and end users Contribute positively to a collaborative team environment to support successful project delivery Required Skills: 2+ years of professional experience on a large technical project 1+ year(s) of hands-on Appian experience Bachelor’s degree US Citizenship or Green Card is required (required by the federal government for this position). Must be able to obtain Public Trust clearance.
