Nimbus Data Systems Advertising Products & Solutions (AP&S) is responsible for the product development, project management, and day-to-day operations of Nimbus Data Systems ’s full advertising technology suite. From product management to program management to sales operations, our division services both internal and external customers in support of Nimbus Data Systems ’s $10B+ annual advertising business. The Business Intelligence team within AP&S leverages data to empower business customers with actionable insights that drive performance and decision-making. We are currently seeking an Analytics Engineer to support the design and implementation of scalable data solutions, empowering stakeholders across Sales, Operations, Finance, and Strategy with data analytics solutions. Responsibilities: Reporting to the Senior Manager, Business Intelligence in this role you will: Assist in the design, development, and maintenance of analytical reporting ETL pipelines and related front-end interfaces (e.g., dashboards), leveraging data languages such as SQL and Python, and platforms such as Snowflake and pipeline management tools. Contribute to the development and execution of QA and UAT protocols, proactively identifying and resolving data quality issues to ensure solutions perform effectively. Support training and ongoing support to data users, enabling them to effectively utilize data solutions and tools. Collaborate on the development of advanced analytics prototypes to drive strategic initiatives and business outcomes. Maintain comprehensive documentation to support scalability and knowledge transfer across the organization. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Data Analytics, Computer Science or a related field. 1+ years of experience in data analytics, BI, or related fields, including data pipeline development. Knowledge of Data Modeling, Data Architecture, ETL, and Data Warehouse methodologies. Experience with SQL for data manipulation or a demonstrated ability to learn quickly. Proficiency in BI tools such as Tableau, Looker, or MicroStrategy. Familiarity with data integration tools like Dataiku or dbt. Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in a media company, specifically within advertising sales.
