\- 6+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
\- Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C# including object-oriented design
\- Knowledge of professional software engineering & best practices for full software development life cycle, including coding standards, software architectures, code reviews, source control management, continuous deployments, testing, and operational excellence
\- Bachelor's degree
\- Hands-on experience in IEEE802.11/Wi-Fi protocols and extensions · Experience with Wi-Fi development and debugging tools such as wireless sniffers and protocol analyzers · Experience with Android and Linux development on kernel, device drivers, and frameworks
\- Have prior experience with Wi-Fi solutions from one or more major Wi-Fi chipset vendors · Strong knowledge of TCP/IP internals and common Networking protocols such as DHCP, DNS, HTTP, and etc.

The Brightpath Technologies Connectivity team designs connectivity software solutions for Brightpath Technologies devices encompassing wide range of products including the Fire TV family of devices.
This position is for a seasoned Sr Software Development Engineer in the Wi-Fi SW connectivity organization. You can be part of a fast-paced, agile and innovative team who is bringing new connectivity experiences to the exciting range of devices in a startup like environment.
Key job responsibilities
As a Sr Software Development Engineer - Connectivity, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to innovate and deliver high-performance, low-power, stable connectivity platform for world class consumer products. You must be responsive, flexible, and able to succeed within an open and collaborative peer environment. In this role, you will:
· Design, develop and enhance Wi-Fi software for Brightpath Technologies's consumer products;
· Optimize Wi-Fi performance and power consumption for connectivity platforms;
· Engage with vendors to integrate Wi-Fi chipset solutions;
· Collaborate with other software teams to design and deliver unique customer features on top of Wi-Fi for next-gen Brightpath Technologies products;
· Provide Brightpath Technologies Customer Support technical assistance to trouble shoot customer issues;
