AI (SI) Genius / Guru / Leader

AI & AUTOMATION LEADER We are looking for one exceptional person . Not someone looking for another freelance project. Not someone juggling five clients. Not someone who has learnt how to use a few AI tools and now calls themselves an AI expert. We want someone seriously smart, technically capable, intensely curious and 100% committed to building something with us. The opportunity We are an established Australian business embarking on a significant AI and automation project. We are deliberately not explaining everything in this advertisement. What we can say is that this is not about installing ChatGPT, building a few automations or creating another chatbot . We want to fundamentally change the way our businesses operate using AI. That will involve connecting people, systems, communications, data, workflows and decision-making into something much bigger. You will have the opportunity to help design it, build it and eventually lead it . We don't just want an employee For the right person, we are thinking much longer term. We want someone who could become a key part of what we are building for many years. Someone who thinks like an owner. Someone we can trust with increasingly important decisions. And if the relationship works and the person proves themselves, there is the potential for this to develop into something far more significant, including potential ownership participation in the future. Nothing is promised. It would need to be earned. But the opportunity is real. Who we want You will probably be someone who: Is exceptionally intelligent and resourceful Understands AI beyond simply prompting ChatGPT Can actually build things Understands APIs, automation, integrations, data and modern AI systems Can look at a complicated business process and work out how to make it dramatically better Learns ridiculously quickly Challenges assumptions rather than blindly following instructions Can move from an idea to a working solution Takes responsibility when something doesn't work Is comfortable figuring things out when there isn't a manual Wants to build something substantial rather than spend your career completing tickets Most importantly: commitment This is not a side job. If you're running an agency, building your own start-up, freelancing for several clients or constantly looking for the next project, this probably isn't for you . We are looking for someone who wants to choose one serious opportunity and throw themselves into it . We will do the same for the right person. What you will actually be building We won't put the entire plan in a public advertisement. Some of it we will discuss during the interview. Some of it you will help us work out. And some of it hasn't been invented yet . That's exactly why we need the right person. How to apply Don't send us a generic AI-written cover letter telling us you're passionate about technology. Tell us instead: What is the most impressive thing you've actually built? What did you personally build rather than your team? If you had access to every system, email, conversation, process and piece of operational data inside a company, what would you build? What AI technology are most businesses completely underestimating right now? Why would you choose one opportunity like this over working on multiple projects? And give us one example of something you've built that we can actually look at. We aren't necessarily looking for the person with the best CV. We are looking for the person who makes us think: “We need this person on our team.”
