About the role
Develop and manage RAG pipelines and integrate LLMs into applications using Python and REST APIs.
Salary: $170000 - 210000 per year Requirements: We require a bachelors degree in business, engineering, statistics, computer science, mathematics, or a related discipline. We need 5+ years of technical product or program management experience, including scope, schedule, budget, quality, cross-functional coordination, process building, release scheduling, risk management, and critical path ownership. We require 5+ years of direct experience working with engineering teams and external customers, with the ability to present complex technical information clearly to executives and non-technical audiences. We require demonstrated expertise in at least one area such as data center infrastructure, modular infrastructure, secure government space accreditation, networking or network provisioning, or software/hardware deployment. We require proven vendor management experience, including contract negotiation, deliverable definition, SLA performance tracking, and accountability management across the full engagement lifecycle. We prefer experience leading highly technical programs involving infrastructure, complex systems, systems engineering, network architecture, systems architecture, or software architecture. We prefer experience defining KPIs and SLAs that support multi-million-dollar businesses and reporting outcomes to senior leadership. We prefer experience with HVAC, building management systems, intrusion detection systems, uninterruptible power supplies, electric power monitoring systems, and power generation systems, including diesel or renewable. We prefer experience managing hardware lifecycles end to end, from procurement and production through warehousing, distribution, and field sustainment. We prefer a current, active U.S. Government security clearance with Top Secret and SCI eligibility or higher. We require the ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI security clearance. Responsibilities: We work across product, program, engineering, hardware, software, and infrastructure teams to manage requirements, scope, and delivery for worldwide AWS MDC and Mission Lab deployments. We manage OEM vendors through construction, deployment, logistics, operations, decommissioning, and Mission Lab experiments. We handle vendor relationships, negotiate contracts and deliverables, and align schedule, scope, and technical expectations to deliver on time. We build and maintain program schedules, define milestones, map cross-team dependencies, identify the critical path, and establish RACI ownership to drive accountability. We develop and maintain SOPs, runbooks, and process documentation to reduce manual work and create repeatable, scalable operations. We manage customer engagements and serve as the internal representative of the customer and the external representative of our service team. We represent the service architecture and technical needs across Amazon and mission customers, including shared responsibilities such as site preparation, networking, and accreditation. We assess risks, anticipate issues, solve technical obstacles, and make trade-off decisions while balancing cost and schedule. We manage fleet assets and spare-part inventory, coordinate vendors and internal teams for break/fix support and ordering, and create systems to reduce manual inventory tasks. We own the planning and execution of high-visibility deployments that directly support customer missions. We participate in architecture decisions and design reviews. We communicate program status, risks, and challenges to senior and executive leadership. We collaborate with software developers, networking engineers, product managers, and other teams to deliver new services and features.
