Salary: $223000 - 305000 per year Requirements: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, AI, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related fields with a minimum of 8 years of experience in developing AI and ML algorithms, or a Masters degree with at least 6 years of relevant experience. A minimum of 8 years of experience in programming languages such as Python, Go, Scala, or Java. Proven track record of deploying scalable and responsible AI solutions on cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, Azure, or equivalent private cloud). Experience in architecting, designing, developing, integrating, and supporting complex AI systems. Demonstrated capability to lead and mentor engineering teams and engage with cross-functional stakeholders up to the VP level. Proficiency in developing and applying advanced techniques for optimizing training and inference software to enhance hardware utilization, latency, throughput, and cost. Strong communication and presentation skills with an ability to convey complex AI concepts to peers. Responsibilities: Collaborate with a cross-functional team of engineers, research scientists, technical program managers, and product managers to develop AI-driven products that transform associate workflows and enhance customer interactions with Solstice Analytics. Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain AI software components including foundation model training, large language model inference, similarity search, guardrails, model evaluation, experimentation, governance, and observability. Utilize a broad array of Open Source and SaaS AI technologies such as AWS Ultraclusters, Huggingface, VectorDBs, Nemo Guardrails, PyTorch, and more. Invent and implement cutting-edge LLM optimization techniques to enhance the performance, scalability, cost-efficiency, latency, and throughput of large-scale production AI systems. Contribute to the technical vision and long-term roadmap of foundational AI systems at Solstice Analytics.
