AI & Data Architect (Developer)

Salary: $85,500 - 185,000 per year Requirements: Bachelors or masters degree in computer science, data science, engineering, or a related field. 10+ years of combined experience in software development, data architecture, and production-grade AI deployment. At least 5 years of experience as a Data Architect. 2+ years delivering AI architectures in production. At least 3 years of AWS Cloud experience. Current hands-on coding ability, including Python; proficiency in Python, SQL, and other relevant programming languages. Production-grade experience with AI solutions, including GenAI, LLMs, or reinforcement learning, and proven experience architecting and deploying AI/ML solutions. Strong knowledge of machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch, cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP, and MLOps tools; cloud architecture or AI/ML certifications are preferred. Familiarity with APIs and microservices. Experience implementing disruptive technologies in an organization and delivering complex, high-volume cloud implementations. Knowledge of financial industry business needs and major data-consumption use cases in financial services. Knowledge of data architecture concepts and practices, as well as architecture frameworks, methodologies, and tools. Responsibilities: Lead hands-on design of end-to-end AI solution reference architectures, integrating data pipelines, model training, deployment, and monitoring. Apply AI, data, and analytics technologies to enterprise platforms, aligning solutions with complex business and IT needs. Develop and maintain a technical roadmap for enterprise platform capabilities that advance our AI and data vision. Support data acquisition, processing, and utilization through our enterprise AI and data platform. Define AI infrastructure requirements and evaluate tools, platforms, and frameworks for scalability, performance, and security. Provide technical leadership and strategic guidance to business units on AI, machine learning, and data architecture solutions. Ensure project deliverables align with target-state architecture, uphold governance standards, and challenge architectural decisions when needed. Advise on AI and data architecture for critical programs, validate solution designs against policies, standards, guidelines, and regulatory directives, and identify opportunities to improve data architecture across business functions. Build strong relationships with stakeholders across business, technology, and enterprise groups to support adherence to architecture standards. Monitor industry trends and emerging technologies, conduct research and proofs of concept, and recommend relevant innovations. Work with business and development teams to improve processes and system designs, ensuring systems are functionally appropriate, technically sound, and well integrated.
