Advanced Associate, Data Quality

Salary: $73000 - 79000 per year Requirements: We require a bachelors degree in math, statistics, education, social science, research, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience in educational reporting. We look for 1–3 years of professional experience in data reporting, data quality, analytics, or a similar field; experience with K–12 education or state education reporting is a plus. We need strong technical aptitude, including solid Excel skills, experience handling large and complex datasets, and familiarity with SQL, reporting tools, or data visualization platforms such as Power BI or SQL Server Reporting Services. We expect the ability to interpret technical file specifications and support accurate import and export file preparation under guidance. We value demonstrated experience supporting data management, quality control, and process improvement while following established procedures and meeting deadlines. We need strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities, resolve routine issues, and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Knowledge of project management principles is a plus. Responsibilities: We support academic and financial operations for 1–3 schools of varying complexity by extracting, transforming, and loading student data from school systems into state reporting platforms under guidance, taking on greater independence and ownership over time. We interpret technical file specifications, export and import data to satisfy reporting requirements, and document the process for replication and audit readiness. We help track reporting deadlines and timelines for required submissions and contribute to on-time delivery. We create and maintain SQL and Power BI reports to support state reporting and corporate needs. We assist with building and maintaining procedures for reporting to external audiences, including state agencies, funding sources, school boards, and partner organizations. We maintain datasets for students, staff, and course information, partner with school personnel and program and district liaisons to identify inconsistencies, investigate issues, and support corrective and preventive actions. We maintain departmental process and procedure documentation. We perform other duties as assigned.
