Salary: $137,369.3 - 206,053.95 per year Requirements: Bachelors degree or higher; we may also consider relevant coursework combined with experience or extensive related professional experience. 5–8 years of relevant work experience; the posting also lists 5–7 years. Experience with C/C++, database design, and network programming. Experience designing and developing large-scale software, distributed systems, and mission-critical systems. Responsibilities: Lead an engineering team and work with project stakeholders to identify product and technical requirements and assess integration needs. Guide the full software development lifecycle, including design, prototyping, implementation, testing, maintenance, and technical support. Review designs for new software and web applications, support applications in development, customize existing applications, and assist with updates and release rollouts. Produce technical specifications and assess operational feasibility; review code and related documents for sound design, testability, and efficiency. Research, prepare, and edit technical documentation, including software designs, evaluation plans, test results, manuals, recommendations, and reports. Provide technical leadership and guidance on engineering practices, procedures, techniques, and design choices; present and explain architectural and technical decisions to internal audiences. Monitor competing applications and products, and review relevant literature, patents, and current practices. Train representatives and operations staff on internally developed applications. Support business needs and resolve technical issues. Partner with global engineering, product, and operations teams to advance shared innovations.
