Roles and responsibilities
QA, Content The Lead – Content QA defines and enforces quality standards across all content projects in the organization, ensuring accuracy, consistency, usability, and accessibility across digital courses, assessments, multimedia, and platform content. This role owns content QA strategy, processes, and release readiness while leading and mentoring QA teams across multiple projects. The Lead partners closely with PMs, IDs, the Media team, and content developers to embed quality throughout the content lifecycle. The ideal candidate brings deep experience in edtech content QA, accessibility standards, and cross-platform delivery.
Required Skillset
• 6–10 years of experience in content QA, or digital content quality roles within edtech or digital product
organizations.
• Proven experience leading QA efforts across multiple content types and delivery platforms.
• Strong understanding of content lifecycles, instructional design principles, and digital publishing workflows.
• Working knowledge of LMSs, authoring tools, assessment platforms, and web-based content systems.
• Practical knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for content review and defect analysis.
• Understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG).
• Demonstrated ability to build QA processes, mentor teams, and influence cross-functional stakeholders.
• Excellent analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
Desired Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
