Overview Solstice Analytics is seeking qualified candidates located in Latam to fill the role of QA Engineer (Independent Vendor Oversight). This role is responsible for ensuring that third-party vendors deliver reliable, scalable, and production-ready solutions. You will define testing standards, validate vendor deliverables, and ensure quality is objectively measured and enforced. Key Responsibilities Independent Quality Validation Validate all vendor-delivered features before release: functional, regression, and integration testing Ensure solutions meet business requirements — not just technical specs Identify gaps vendors may overlook or under-test Test Strategy & Framework Ownership Define and implement a QA strategy across all systems Establish test plans, acceptance criteria frameworks, and release readiness checklists Introduce automation where appropriate (without overengineering) Vendor Accountability Review and challenge vendor-provided test cases, QA processes, and defect resolution approaches Ensure vendors are not testing their own homework Escalate quality risks early and clearly Integration & End-to-End Testing Own testing across system boundaries: ERP, eCommerce, CRM, and data platforms Validate real-world workflows: order-to-cash, customer journeys, data flows Identify failures that only show up in end-to-end scenarios Data & Reporting Validation Ensure data accuracy, proper transformations and mappings across systems Validate reporting outputs and dashboards against source systems Release Governance Act as a gatekeeper for production releases with defined go/no-go criteria Participate in sprint reviews and release planning Job Skills/Requirements 5–10+ years in QA / software testing roles +90% English written and oral (at least B2 level) Experience working in vendor-led or outsourced development environments Strong knowledge of manual and automated testing approaches API testing experience (e.g., Postman or similar tools) Experience with test management tools (e.g., TestRail, Zephyr, or equivalent) Experience testing across integrated systems: ERP (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics, NetSuite) and CRM systems Independent thinker — not influenced by vendor narratives Detail-obsessed — finds what others miss Business-aware — tests based on real-world usage, not just specs Assertive communicator — willing to block releases if needed Systems-oriented — understands how failures cascade across platforms We are Solstice Analytics , an awesome team of engineers who are ready to ramp up any top-notch company’s projects!
